Background<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Relief Trust (Dhukha Niwaran Guthi<\/em>) Nepal is a non-profit and non-governmental organization (NGO) established in 1974 (B.S. 2030) in Kathmandu by Late Mr Til Bahadur Lokhsum and his friends for humanitarian service, advocacy and social development, at a time when only very few social service organizations were in existence in Nepal. The Relief Trust (TRT) is registered under the Sanstha Darta Ain<\/em>, 2034 B.S. in District Administration Kathmandu and affiliated with Social Service Council (No. 15, 1977 A.D.). TRT is tax exempted by In-land Revenue Department, Govt. of Nepal. TRT has been performing different activities i.e. – advocacy, social service, training, research and developmental work in accordance with government policy.<\/p>\n

Vision:\u00a0 <\/strong>The Relief Trust (TRT) envisions a community\/nation where social justice, equality, peace, harmony and prosperity prevail for all.<\/p>\n

Mission:<\/strong>\u00a0 To support the needy and vulnerable groups by providing and promoting psychosocial support, service, advocacy, education, livelihood programs and developmental activities, based on the policy of local, provincial and union Government of Nepal.<\/p>\n
