Sanjeevani\/The Relief trust (TRT) has been providing standard long term and short term mental health and psychosocial counselling training for health professionals, participants from organizations (including Nepal Police, Nepal Army, Armed police force) differently able and interested candidates. The training curriculum consists of both theory and practical classes along with supervision from internal and external experts like clinical psychologists, psychologists, counsellors, senior counsellors etc.<\/p>\n
The total duration of the course extends over 6 months (i.e. 6\u00d7130 hours equal to 780 hours) within which 620 hours of in-house training and 160 hours of practical.<\/p>\n
Eligibility: minimum of Intermediate or +2 pass
\nTraining Location: The Relief Trust Office, Basundhara, Kathmandu
\nGroup size: 15 participants
\nMedium of instruction: Nepali and English
\nPattern of attendance: The trainees should have 90 percent attendance to get their certificates. The trainees will be marked on their theory exam, practical exam, attendance and class participation.
\nEntry Criteria: Minimum of Intermediate or +2 pass and have passion in working with client.
\nThe methods of teaching:
\nTheory: Lecture, Discussion etc.
\nPractical: Case study presentation, group and individual assignment, group and individual presentation, role play, supervision etc.<\/p>\n
Grading System:
\nThe trainees will be graded as follows based on the marks in percentage secured by them in tests\/ evaluations.
\n\u2022 Distinction: Passed with 80% or above
\n\u2022 First Division: passed with 75% or above
\n\u2022 Second Division: passed with 65% or above
\n\u2022 Third Division: passed with 60% or above
