THE RELIEF TRUST (TRT) (DUKHHA NIWARAN GUTHI
\nFor equitable and just society since 1974<\/p>\n

INTRODUCTION:
\nThe Relief Trust (Dhukha Niwaran Guthi) Nepal is a non-profit and non- governmental organization (NGO) established in 1974 (B.S. 2030) in Kathmandu by late Mr. Til Bahadur Lokshum and his friends for humanitarian service, advocacy and social development, at a time when only very few social service organizations were in existence in Nepal. The Relief Trust (TRT) is registered under the Sanstha Darta Ain, 2034 B.S. in District Administration Kathmandu and affiliated with Social Service Council (No. 15, 1977 A.D.). TRT is tax exempted by In Land Revenue Department, Govt. of Nepal.TRT has been performing different activities as: advocacy, social service, training, research and developmental work in accordance with government policy.<\/p>\n

VISION:
\nThe Relief Trust (TRT) envisions a community\/nation where social justice, equality, peace, harmony and prosperity prevail for all.<\/p>\n

MISSION:
\nTo support the needy and vulnerable groups by providing and promoting psychosocial service, advocacy, education, livelihood programs, and developmental activities based on the policy of local, provincial and union Government of Nepal.<\/p>\n

OBJECTIVES:
\n\u2022 Provide service to Needy Children, Youth, Women and Senior Citizen
\n\u2022 Work on safety, dignity and justice for marginalized and vulnerable groups
\n\u2022 Empowering underprivileged single women, marginalized groups, through various income generating activities
\n\u2022 Advocacy, awareness & psychosocial support on mental health and Psychosocial issues
\n\u2022 Organize various mental health related psychosocial counseling training
\n\u2022 Sensitize on violence against girls and women through training, workshop and advocacy
\n\u2022 Work on ecological conservation for environment security, climate change and adaptation<\/p>\n

FUNCTIONAL THEME
\nThe 45th General Assembly of THE RELIEF TRUST dated on September 24, 2018 (Ashwin 8, 2075) Monday, has adopted the following functional components to achieve its vision, mission and Objectives. They are;
\n1. ORGANIZATIONAL & ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT (OAM)
\n2. SERVICE & SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT
\n3. SAFETY & JUSTICE
\n4. SANJEEVANEE (CARE FOR HOLISTIC WELL BEING)
\n5. ECOLOGICAL CONSERVATION<\/p>\n

\n\u2022 A good level of spoken English is important for you to be able to make the most out of the experience
\n\u2022 You must be flexible and adaptable, enjoy working with others, be self-assured and have an openness to experiencing new cultures and experiences
\n\u2022 We expect high degree of commitment, motivation and your acceptance of our code of conduct, which includes no alcohol, drugs
\n\u2022 You will have to pass an interview and a group assessment. These assessments are held in Basundhara,Maharajgunj
\n\u2022 Undergraduate or above but not mandatory
\nThese roles are voluntary and are unpaid \u2013 but candidates are provided with minimum incentives after the submission of final report.<\/p>\n\"\"<\/a>\n
