• Survivors don’t have an identity card
• Combatants don’t have self-identity
• Survivors are going through various trauma
• They lack rehab programs
• Have Self-respect issues
• Have Citizenship issues
• People give us sympathy instead of empathy
• Being treated as a burden

• Mental, psychosocial, aspect, etc has been neglected after the civil war
Acknowledgment
Participants were very much aggressive with the Gov that even they did not get minimum facilities yet. But the fake and who has power, gunner, and money they are taking our facilities instead. So, the government should recognize real victims who have found and became cripple an insurgency movement. At first, Gov should provide an ID card to the real victims.
Conclusion
In general, the program was very fruitful. We enjoyed the time interacting with them and sharing their own experiences made us happy. And we promised that we could act as a bridge between government and insurgents.

Empowering Children

Empowerment
TRT believes that empowerment should not demarcate between the both genders. Therefore, we work in two aspects; one is to educate and another is to empower through psychosocial counseling. Through education, scholarship, awareness programmes (child mental and reproductive health), training on self-esteem, life skills and stress management for young adolescent. TRT has also been supporting youth on income generating programmes for self ownership.
As for the counseling support; we have been counseling children in high school for drop-out children.

Alzheimer

The Relief Trust (TRT), a non-profit organization is providing Psychosocial Support to the families of Alzheimer’s.
Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a condition that causes abnormal changes in the brain mainly affecting memory and other mental abilities. It is a disease and not a normal part of ageing. Loss of memory is the usual first symptom. As the disease progresses, reasoning, language, decision-making, judgment and other critical skills are found to be decreasing making the living impossible without help from others, most often a family member or a friend. Sometimes, but not always, difficult changes in personality and behaviour occur that this makes them more vulnerable situation to both the person and the caregivers. In Nepal, there are 78,000 people with Alzheimer’s. Most of the family members are found be suffering from guilt, loss, grief, sadness, frustration and a huge amount of fear. Till the date there is no organization working to support the families of Alzheimer’s and WE would like to take the initiatives.
The money donated will directly go for the psychosocial support (Individual, family and group counselling with the maximum of sensitization).
